Tourism Malaysia has launched “Malaysia Holidays with Guardian” in collaboration with Guardian to promote domestic tourism as well as increase public awareness of local tourist destinations. KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has emerged as a country with notable resilience and potential for recovery amid the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, says the World Bank. In its report, the World Bank said Malaysia leads the way in a survey which included Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines and Vietnam. The survey examines the economic consequences and government responses to the pandemic in the six economies. The progressive wage model will be tabled at the National Economic Action Council (MTEN) with the aim to analyse the suitability of its implementation, said Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar. IPOH: An object believed to be a mortar-type bomb was discovered by a jogger at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreation Park, commonly known as the polo grounds, here, today. JOHOR BAHRU: Police busted a syndicate that used TikTok and WeChat applications to sell drugs following the arrest of eight individuals, including a foreign woman, in four separate raids around the city last Sunday and Monday.
